To complete the extensive product range, the MRO250 batch soldering system was included in the program. It was already part of our range as a purchased product in a similar form until the beginning of 2024. Since the former OEM supplier has stopped manufacturing, CEO Markus Fritsch was offered all the know-how and existing components to now manufacture the product himself.
New design for the placeALL®
During 2023, our developers have been working on a new design of our fully automatic machines. The placeALL®610XL found its successor, the placeALL®620XL. On the one hand the placeALL®620XL differs in its appearance, on the other hand the arrangement of the vision and tool changer in the pick & place area has been updated. The other models remain the same when it comes to functionality and productivity, simply with a new design.
IRO850 in a new look
Not only the IRO’s external printing has changed, but also the base cabinet. The improved interior design allows for easier cleaning. Moreover, the heating zones have been additionally insulated, which shortens the heating time and thus saves energy. The adjustable plates at the entrance and exit also serve this purpose and are set as low as possible depending on the height of the components.
Laser height sensor
The sensor is used for height measurement and can now also be used on the placeALL® machines. It is always integrated into our dispenseALL, but now also new for the pick & place machines.
This option allows the operator to measure reference surfaces such as PCB and feeder heights much more precisely and quickly. The user-friendly integration into the software makes incorrect measurements impossible. However, due to the mechanical structure of the placeALL® machines, it may be that not all positions can be approached with the sensor. In this case, the machine automatically switches to vacuum measuring mode.
PAController
With this new HMI (Human Machine Interface), Fritsch has expanded machine operation to include another input option. Communication with the production system takes place via this controller (X-Box) to which a software tool allows the button function to be assigned. For example, to measure component and feeder positions or to start assembly.
The machine and operating device are connected either via a cable or via Bloototh.
