The need to document the exact value of a component is omnipresent.
Whether it is a 100 % control in the case of high grade mounting functions such as in the field of medicine and in the field of astronautics or also the tracing of a newly opened batch of components. The need to document the value of components is given. And a test station makes sense for particularly this purpose.
Set up of the test station
The test station has two motor-driven spring contacts which ensure a stable measurement of the component values. The advantage of the spring contacts is that slight tolerances of the component dimensions or tolerances of the contact surfaces can be equalized.
Depending on the case of application, the fitter can choose between different test strategies. The strategies differ from by the frequency of measurements and the reactions to the measurement results.
The number of the measured components can be set from a complete measurement of all components to a measurement of every nth component.
The many years of experience in integrating component testing devices into the mounting process has resulted in a modular and flexible construction of the test station in order to ensure a simple and universal integration. Not only the two stated standard variants can be connected via a defined software interface but also individual wishes, such as a customer-specific measuring bridge, can be met without great effort.
