The SM 902 professional displays all relevant assembly data inside the machines' placement area. The placement inspection on the attached monitor is optional.

After displaying the pickup position (LED rail) the motor-driven eye reaches the placement position. The user only has to insert the guide-pin into the eye and place the component. The constant view-changing between monitor and circuit board is omitted. An assembly head camera is available for small parts.

Dispensing solder paste or glue can be done manually or with the auto dispenser and software. The auto dispenser is hooked into the eye and the dispensing program is started. Thus it is possible to assemble prototypes and small series efficiently.
