
The motor-driven eye is automatically moved to the next placing position in the list. The user only has to insert the guide-pin into the eye and place the component. By this searching the current placement position manually is omitted.

With the SM 902 professional you can dispense solder paste or glue automatically using our software together with the auto dispenser. The required dispensing data is generated automatically by the software out of the placement project.
The auto dispenser is mounted on top of the placement eye, the dispensing program is started and all dots are dispensed automatically.
By this assembling prototypes and small series is made highly flexible and easy.

All of our SM manipulators can be equipped with automatic feeders such as carousels or paternosters. By this the next required component is moved to a defined pickup position. As a result assembly output increases and the user is released from manually moving the feeders.
Both systems can be alternatively operated with a foot pedal.

To assemble components more efficiently the traverse path and pickup positions are optimized by the software automatically. This takes places during placement and dispensing.

All data used by the SM semiautomatic machines can be adopted to the placeALL® 510 and placeALL® 600 (L). By this upgrading to an automatic Pick&Place machine is made easy.

To create new assembly projects with ease, a universal CAD data converter reads in existing CAD information for the SM 902.
By this you stay flexible in the future.

The offline software makes it possible to prepare all needed project data on a separate PC. The results can then be trans- ferred to the machine using a network or a storage device.

With a camera attached to the assembly head, you can view the whole Pick&Place process - magnified on a monitor.
Thus even the smallest parts like 0201 and 0402 can be placed exactly. Another benefit of the camera is the possible docu- mentation of the process by saving single picture frames to the harddisk of an attached PC.
