Why must an automation solution always be customized? The portal module placeALL® XS can take over all pick & place and measuring tasks in customer-specific plants without great effort.

The many years of experience in the development and marketing of pick & place machines enables this quantum leap: A pick & place module that can be integrated in customized plants in an easy way.

The module comprises a pick & place portal with X,Y,Z and R axes as well as the corresponding component centring device which is carried along the top. The pick & place portal can be integrated directly into the machine modules because no frame or casing construction is necessary whatsoever. This reduces not only the time for the implementation but also increases the precision of mounting and productivity.

The process is controlled via an industrial PC which is included in the scope of delivery. The serial software of the placeALL® 510/610 automatic machine series runs on this PC. This ensures high stability and provides features such as automatic position correction when placing, the automatic correction of the pick position or the intelligent feeder concept smartFEEDER.

A separate control box contains the entire control units and power drivers. This means the installation can begin immediately…
